In the present day, the digital inclusion is a factor that is being
increasingly discussed within society, because it is one of the best ways to
convey information. I think with the current globalized world and, given the
advancement of technology, today's youth should have early access to
information and digital media, in this words, they should be connected. The consumption of information by digital
means is growing more each day by the fact that Brazil is one of the most
connected countries. Children who have access to digital media in schools from
primary school learn early to be informed and become familiar with the
technology, using this access only for learning with moderate consumption. The
technological advancement has transformed the computer into a tool,
increasingly, indispensable human activities. This fact is easily verified in
the simplest daily activities of people as in obtaining bank Shops in the
purchase of goods in supermarkets and utilization of credit cards for payment.
The schools of basic education in Brazil include the computer as an additional
resource to support teaching, placing it in the same category of books or
educational films. Besides that, each day that passes is required basic
computer knowledge as a prerequisite for obtaining employment in less skilled
positions in companies. In fact, today's youth must have at least a basic
knowledge of office and know how to access and use e-mail. The fact is that the
computer is already integrated into people's lives and without it will be
increasingly difficult to adjust the same in modern society. We can say that
with all this, a large part of society is being widely benefited and benefit
will be larger to the extent that more people are able to access the equipment
of computer science and information through digital inclusion.
You make many good points, and I agree that computers are an indispensable tool in the classroom. I would say computers are more important than educational films. If you have a computer with internet access in the classroom, you have access to countless films on the internet.
